Articulation Test Center Hive is not a standardized assessment, it is a criterion-referenced assessment, measuring performance against normative data available in the research.

It was created by Speech Language Pathologists to be used as a supplemental assessment in conjunction with standardized tests. The speech sound norms, intelligibility measures and the age at which phonological processes are eliminated are reported in the test results. All research considered is cited in the app in the results section and in the generated email.

We do not currently have plans to standardize the assessments in Articulation Test Center Hive.
